exodus from Bolivia

rest assure all is well and nothing bad had happened to me. First off i´ll start from the beginning of the week which turned out to be normal and all was well and the week went on. (bagio is my area and el torno is my city its smaller than bagio, it´s really close to la guardia) We were supposed to have zone conference with president on Friday morning and everyone showed up as normal not suspected anything to be the matter. But then president showed up and said that we we´re going to be doing some different things. He gave us a little lesson and some food and said that we we´re supposed to leave our houses today but nobody recieved the call, and we have had inside days many times before when things have been crazy like this. But this time it was worse, we were in our houses from Friday until Sunday and couldn´t leave but i had enough food and water to last until Monday. Sunday morning we were told we could go to church as normal and then return to our house at 2 to wait for the zone leaders call, but we didn´t have church because of all the problems in our area. So we called the offices and they just told us it would be better to wait in our houses until two... so we did and got the call that all the north american elders were leaving to peru the next night and to clean out your houses. Also since i was leaving my campanion was being transferred to another area and that our area bagia, el torno is being closed. I gues Sunday sometime in our area there were two deaths and a blockade a little bit farther from where we were living( not between our house and the city). There have been blockades before but this was worse and thank heavens it wasn´t between us and the city. So all the north americans have their things packed and are in the mission house and we are all waiting for our flight out of here tonight. Right now im still in bagio but about an hour away from my area, but still i haven´t seen anything that would cause any danger any elders yet. From talking with my district leader he told me that all of those who are close to finishing their mission will probably going home earlier and all the other elders who are going to peru will be going on splits in the missions of the center of lima, south, north, east, and west missions altleast until things cool down and the american emassedor comes back to bolivia. (from what happened to past closing missions to north americans) But if not all the missionaries with more then a year will be going to the states on a reassigned mission and all those who have less then a year will be reassigned in somewhere in south american. But none of this is sure, the only thing i know is that im leaving for peru tonight and that i haven´t been in or seen any dangerous situations, but have just been hearing that everything is going crazy in santa cruz.
